I had my camera near me while I played in the garden yesterday, in hopes of catching a photo of a cardinal in the blossoming apple tree. By evening, plenty of blossoms had fallen to the ground and still no cardinal. I thought I wouldn’t catch a photo after all this year. Then, as I was in the front yard, a cardinal appeared at the very top of the apple tree while my hubby, Guy was in the backyard. Guy picked up our camera and snapped these pics for me. Unfortunately, I had the camera settings different than usual, and the pics weren’t as sharp as Guy had hoped they’d be. But I’m very pleased that the photos were actually captured! Enjoy!

Sharp enough—the red against the blue sky with the blossoms, looking good!

Thanks Shirley! I love it when the skies cooperate with the photographer.
