Call me crazy but I always did and tried to find them something at Christmas, as well. The least I could do to show them appreciation for taking care of… Continue reading School’s Out for Summer!

Thousand Word Thursdays #88
Rural area outside of Chatham. I’ve always been fascinated by the intricate bales or rolls of hay or wheat or whatever it is I see in fields. I asked my son-in-law, a farmer, what it was, and he replied, “It’s a bale of hay in an alfalfa field!” I told him he’s faster than google!

You can see the age in the petals yet the blooms are only a few days old. I only… Continue reading Poppies!
A Milestone Day!
Today’s a milestone day. Maybe, not so much for everyone, but I like to celebrate the milestones along the journey. To look at the Big Picture. Today is number 250. That sounds like a nice round number to be happy about, and so today, I’m going to celebrate. I haven’t given it much thought, but… Continue reading A Milestone Day!
