These purple coneflower–or echinacea–photos were taken about a month ago. I credit my husband for the best pics. Neither of us can actually remember who grabbed the camera that particular time!

Absolutely beautiful. One of my favourites … I used to grow them in my garden in Oxfordshire in England. They always gave me so much pleasure.

I now live in New York so sadly don’t have a garden, however we’ll be here for just three years and when I return, I shall grow masses, literally masses of them!
