Well, today, I finally discovered what kind of wild critter was eating my sunflower plants. My bichapoo, Sophie! She puts a paw up on a branch to draw it closer to her, and chews the leaves.
Non-toxic and a source of Omega 3’s–well, the omega’s are in the seeds but apparently, dogs like to eat stem, leaves and the flowers of sunflowers. Good thing she’s cute! And, that I planted many sunflowers.
